Will this fit in Dell Latitude Laptops like the D830?

Thank you for reaching out. The D830 is a legacy model that typically uses a 12.7mm thick optical drive. However, the bracket we sell is designed for 9.5mm bays (measuring 130 x 127 x 9.5mm). To prevent you from receiving an incompatible item, we recommend measuring the thickness of your current optical drive before purchasing. If your drive is indeed 12.7mm thick, this 9.5mm bracket will not fit. Please let me know if you need any other assistance!
