Q:Which drive types and sizes are supported?

Q:Do I need drivers?
A:No. The docking station is plug-and-play — your computer will recognize inserted drives automatically as external storage.
Q:Does this station support cloning without a PC?
A:Unlike some other models, the IB-1122-U3 model does not have a standalone cloning button built into the unit — it functions primarily as a docking station. If you need standalone cloning, consider models IB-1232CL-U3.
Q:Why is data transfer slow?
A:• If connected to a USB?2.0 port instead of USB?3.0; • Low performance from the drive itself;• Lack of UASP support in host system.
Q: My drive doesn’t show up on the computer — what should I do?
A: Possible reasons:
• The drive is not formatted/initialized — initialize/format the drive in Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (macOS).
• Drive is damaged or not connected fully.
• USB port is not a USB?3.0 port (lower speeds, but still should detect).
