Does this come with the fans, or do they need to be purchased seperate?

Comes with the top 2 and the back. Will need 3 fans. 120mm fans. Great case. Wire management on the back side of mono is awesome. With all fans case stays around upper 70's to low 80's.

Does this case come with included fans, and if it doesn't, how many/how big are the spots for the fans?

Yes it includes fans, how many and of what CFM I can't remember. I will say that I liked this case very much, bang/buck is high. I had to go with another on my current build, as the only disadvantage to this case was that it won't fit a Quadro FX5600 GPU. They are a bit old school, and are like a foot and half long, so not really points off for that. I have it sitting right next to my current build and look forward to using it when I upgrade. Top vent is a plus. I had it built out with a GTX 580 for a while, and all was cool and quiet.

Will a Sappire r9 280x fit in this?

fits up to 11.5" cards, if you have a 3 fan card i'd say no. two fan could probably fit though fine

What kind of audio connector comes with this case?

It has High Def. and the AC type. both worked for me on a Gigabyte board. I highly recommend this case.
