Audix SMT25 Shock Mount Suspension System for Pencil Condenser and VX5/i5 Mic

The Audix SMT25 is a professional, simple-to-use shock mount system that attaches to any standard microphone stand with either 3/8" or 5/8" threads. The SMT25 is provided with a 3/8" threaded insert that allows it to be used with European-style mic stands. To use with 5/8" mic stands, simply remove the adapter. Optimized for use with a wide variety of microphones, the SMT25 will work with microphones having an OD (outer diameter) of .82"-1.06"/21mm-27mm.

Instrument microphones
The SMT25 is ideally suited for instrument condenser microphones such as the i5, ADX-51, SCX-1 and SCX25-A and a wide variety of other popular microphones on the market. The SMT25 will hold the microphone securely in just about any position. With condenser microphones, it is important that the element and all ports in the housings and grills remain completely exposed.

Vocal microphones
The SMT25 will also work with vocal microphones such as the OM series and the VX-5 and a wide variety of other popular micro-phones on the market.
