X520-DA1 PCIE 2.0 X4 Interface to 10GbE SFP+ Converged Ethernet Adpater
This LinksTek X520-DA1 10Gbps SFP+ fiber port ethernet adapter provides reliable and unified 10GbE LAN and SAN connectivity for data centers, network attached storage, multi-processor servers and desktop PCs. It is ideal for gaming, 4K HD video streaming, internet browsing, data storage and virtualization applications. Based on Intel’s 82599 10 Gigabit Ethernet Controller, it is compatible with most Windows and Linux systems. Utilizing a PCIE 2.0 x4 interface, it delivers a total bandwidth of 20Gbps, ensuring SFP+ port achieves 10GbE transmission and reception simultaneously. It fully supports Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq) and PCI-SIG SR-IOV. Built-in connectivity virtualization technology enables I/O virtualization and Quality of Service (QoS) features. I/O virtualization enhances network performance with Flexible Port Partitioning (FPP) and multiple Rx/Tx queues. FPP allows servers to leverage the SR-IOV function, while QoS is available for both virtualized and non-virtualized servers. This unified networking solution consolidates LAN and SAN traffic across data center networks onto a single high-efficiency fiber network. Users can utilize NFS, iSCSI or FCoE protocols to transport both network and storage traffic at speeds up to 10 Gbps, offering a reliable and efficient way to connect servers to iSCSI SANs. The open-FCoE architecture, supported by FCoE initiators on Windows, Linux and VMware ESXi hypervisors, delivers high-performance 10 GbE FCoE connectivity.
