To Straighten:
- After preheating*, take a section of hair near the root about 1mm thick** and clamp it in between the heating plates.
- Slowly pull towards the end of the hair to straighten hair.
To Curl:
- After preheating*, take a section of hair near the root about 1mm thick** and clamp it in between the heating plates
- Use the iron to twirl while slowly pulling towards the end of the hair section. The hair should diagonally wrap around the vented barrel as it's being pulled away. (see the included tutorial video in the gallery section)
*Note: The LED light will change color and the fan will turn on once preheating is done.
**Note #2: Using a section of hair too thin may result in the loss of grip of the hair between the heating plates.
