According to Seagate they have a 2TB and 5TB USB 3.0 portable HDD(s) that are SMR. Look up Anandtech, there is an article in reference to these HDD(s). Anandtech did an article on these HDD(s) back in June 18, 2019. I own 7 or the 5TB drives and use them mainly for backups from my QNAP and DROBO NAS.
