This highperformance internal Mini SAS HD breakout cable converts one SFF8643 host port into four SFF8482 29pin drive interfaces, designed to connect SAS RAID controllers directly to 4pieces of SAS or SATA hard disk drives inside servers, workstations and NAS storage systems. Compliant with SAS 3.0 standard, it delivers up to 12Gbps per channel for fast massstorage data reading and writing, and maintains downward compatibility with legacy SAS 2.0, SAS1.0 and SATA storage hardware. Each SFF8482 connector integrates both data contacts and 15pin SAS power contacts, supplying power for hard drives without additional SATA power cables, simplifying internal chassis cable layout greatly. Adopting tinned copper conductors and fullcoverage shielding braid, this cable suppresses electromagnetic interference and signal crosstalk, ensuring stable 24hour continuous operation for datacritical storage environments. The 1meter (3.3 feet) length provides sufficient slack for largesize server case installation. Important note: This is hostside breakout cable, SFF8643 end must plug into RAID controller or host card, cannot connect to backplane SFF8643 port.
