This 1meter (3.3 feet) SFF8643 Mini SAS HD internal breakout cable is a professional storage wiring solution for rackmount servers and NAS storage systems. Host side adopts SFF8643 MiniSAS HD connector which plugs into RAID card or HBA controller. It breaks out to four 29pin SFF8482 connectors, each integrating SAS 15pin power contact, delivering both data signal and power supply directly to SAS or SATA hard drives without extra separate SATA power cords. Fully compliant with SAS 3.0 specification, it supports up to 12Gbps perchannel transmission speed to maintain stable readwrite performance under longtime RAID array working conditions. Goldplated contacts improve conductivity and antioxidation performance, while locking latch design holds connectors firmly in place against cabinet vibration to avoid intermittent signal dropoff. The 1meter cable length provides sufficient routing margin for standard server chassis, helping organize internal wiring and preserve airflow for hardware heat dissipation. Each SFF8482 port carries data + power for hard drives. Please note this is forward breakout cable; SFF8643 connects to host controller, SFF8482 connects to storage drives. It is compatible with SAS and SATA HDD / SSD with SFF8482 interface. Not compatible with SFF8087, SFF8088 interfaces. Hard drives, RAID controller are not included.
