Powered by the ESP32C5 SoC, this board delivers stable dualband 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi 6 connectivity alongside Bluetooth 5, Zigbee 3.0 and Thread 1.3 multiprotocol wireless capability, perfectly suited for building custom sensor nodes within the Home Assistant ecosystem over MQTT, Zigbee or Matter protocols. Integrated intelligent power management hardware supports solar panel input for lithiumbattery charging, enabling cablefree offgrid deployment on balconies, rooftops and outdoor locations. Featuring a 240 MHz RISCV core, 384KB SRAM and 4MB Flash memory, it reaches only 21A deepsleep current to conserve battery energy. Abundant peripheral interfaces including GDI display connector, GPIO, SPI, I2C and UART simplify hardware expansion with external sensors and modules.
