Work Guidelines
Gesture detection
Gesture detection utilizes four directional photodiodes to sense the reflected IR energy (provided by integrated leds), in order to convert physical motion information into digital information. Proximity detection
The proximity detection function provides object detection by detecting the reflected IR energy through a photodiode (provided by an integrated LED)
The color and ALS detection function provides red, green, blue and clear light intensity data. Each of the R, G, B, and C channels has UV and IR blocking filters as well as a dedicated data converter that generates 16-bit data simultaneously.
This architecture enables applications to precisely measure ambient light and sense color, allowing devices to calculate illuminance and color temperature, and control the display backlight and chromaticity.
