AJMRTC GY-9960-3.3 module adopts APDS-9960 multi-function optical sensor. It can detect non-contact hand gestures, measure object proximity distance, capture RGB color and ambient light intensity. Four directional photodiodes enable accurate recognition of four basic swipe gestures. It uses I2C bus for communication and comes with an interrupt pin to reduce MCU polling load. Powered by 3.3V, it has low power consumption and integrated IR LED. This sensor works well with Arduino and Raspberry Pi, perfect for touchless control, smart device interaction, light auto-adjustment and various IoT prototype projects.
