AJMRTC BM3451TNDC-T28A is BYD highly integrated lithium battery protection IC in SOP-28 surface mount package. It monitors each cell voltage, charge and discharge current, and temperature of 3~5 series lithium battery packs. It provides complete safety protection including overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit and overtemperature protection. It comes with passive cell balancing function to reduce inconsistency between battery cells. Users can set protection delay time by external capacitors. Multi-chip cascading is available to protect battery packs with more than 6 cells. This chip is widely applied in power tools, e-bikes, UPS power supply and custom BMS development projects.
