AJMRTC HB100 microwave radar probe is a 10.525GHz Doppler motion detector based on dielectric resonator oscillator technology. It transmits microwave signals and captures frequency shift of reflected waves to identify moving targets. Different from PIR infrared sensors, it works reliably in total darkness, strong sunlight, dusty and humid conditions. It can penetrate thin non-metal covers for hidden installation. The module outputs weak Doppler signal and requires an external signal amplification circuit for threshold judgment. It is widely adopted for automatic door sensors, security burglar alarms, induction lighting, speed measurement, occupancy detection and various embedded motion sensing systems.
