MAX17043 fuel gauge breakout module monitors 1-cell lithium polymer and lithium-ion batteries. It reports real-time battery voltage and state of charge without mandatory full-charge to empty discharge relearning. It supports programmable low-power alert threshold, and outputs interrupt signal through ALRT pin when battery capacity drops below setting value. Low quiescent current design avoids extra battery drain. It is widely used for portable devices, battery-powered IoT sensors, wearable electronics and DIY power monitoring projects.
