Lever Edge is an innovative wiring device featuring a unique spring action clamp terminal. Install with confidence with simple to understand color coded levers, easy wire push in, and audible “click” confirming a secure connection.
Can the Lever Edge switch be re-wired if needed?
Yes, one advantage of Lever Edge devices is that the wires can be removed and terminated again.
Is the Lever Edge switch NEC compliant?
Yes, it is compliant with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
What wires can be used?
15 Amp lever connectors work with both 14 gauge and 12 gauge stranded and solid copper wire only, no aluminum or copper clad wire.
What termination is used for Residential Lever Edge switches?
A unique Spring Action Clamp terminal, where the stripped end of a conductor is inserted into the terminal and a manually operated integral lever applies clamping pressure to a spring mechanism, without the use of screws.
