This Volcano heater block allows you to use E3D's thermistor cartridges, as well as a high temperature, high accuracy PT100 temperature sensor. These are the newer version of the Volcano heater block, and are equivalent to what is comes in an eruption or power pack kit. With this heater block you can use the supplied M3 grub screw to quickly and easily secure or release your temperature sensor.

This block uses the same clamped thermistor mounting configuration as the V6 Heater Block for maximum ease of use and security. The block also has a heater cartridge clamping system for maximum heat transfer, this time using two screws for clamping instead of the one in V6. The heater block also comes with spare M3 Socket Screws to clamp the heater cartridge. This kit does not include either electronic component.
