Sleeve Bearing
Sleeve bearings offer an economical solution due to their simple, low-cost design. They use lubricating oil to reduce friction and ensure quiet performance when new. However, these bearings wear down faster than ball bearings, limiting their long-term durability. Over time, the oil slowly evaporates through the seal, and dust can work its way into the bearing, which slows down the fan and makes it noisier. In extreme cases, uneven wear may cause the fan to become unbalanced, creating strong vibrations. Maintenance typically requires either removing the seal to add fresh oil or performing a full fan replacement to restore proper operation.

Hydraulic Bearing
The hydraulic bearing represents an advancement of traditional sleeve bearing designs. While maintaining the core structure of a sleeve bearing, it incorporates an enlarged oil reservoir and an integrated oil recirculation system. These enhancements enable two key performance improvements: extended service life and significantly reduced operational noise compared to conventional sleeve bearings.
Though fundamentally a sleeve bearing variant, the hydraulic design has become a common feature in WINSINN cooling fans. It’s important to note that while hydraulic bearings are widely implemented across WINSINN's product line, they’re not employed in every fan model within the brand’s catalog.

Dual Ball Bearing
Dual ball bearings represent an advanced rolling-element bearing design. This configuration utilizes two precision ball bearings, each containing multiple small steel balls that orbit the shaft axis. During operation, the inner race and balls rotate synchronously with the fan shaft assembly. The spherical geometry of the rolling elements inherently minimizes friction while eliminating lubrication leakage risks.
The encapsulated design fully integrates the bearing system within the fan housing, creating a protected operational environment isolated from external contaminants. This sealed architecture contributes to exceptional bearing longevity, typically exceeding 50,000 hours of continuous service, with demonstrated resistance to wear and degradation - particularly advantageous for high-RPM applications.

FCC, CE, RoHS
All WINSINN cooling fans comply with FCC, CE, and RoHS certification standards. The product line features three bearing configurations with differentiated service durations: sleeve bearing and hydraulic bearing models come with 1-year included support, while dual ball bearing systems offer 5-year extended service coverage.
