TPS5430 has good characteristics, its main parameters are as follows: high current output 3A (peak 4A); wide voltage input range: 5.5 -36V; high conversion rate up to 95% of the best state.
Wide voltage output range: fixed 500kHz conversion rate, with overcurrent protection and thermal break function, with switch enable pin, off state is only 17uA. static current internal soft start compared with other DC switching power conversion chips of the same type, the TPS5430D high conversion rate is more noteworthy. Although the official PDF gives a wide voltage range up to 36V and a peak current of 4A, we hope that buyers will not exceed 30V and control the current within 2.5A when using this module. The negative voltage is more than 40mV, these parameters are very good for switching power supply. In addition, according to the shop owner's experience with the TPS5430, the actual conversion efficiency is not as high as the official 95%, the actual measured efficiency is about 88%. The negative voltage conversion rate is lower than the positive voltage.
Various voltage outputs ( 3.3V, 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 24V) are configured on board by default and can be converted to the corresponding voltage by simply soldering the corresponding jumper.

EN: Enable control. Below 0.5V, disable output. Suspend enable output. If you need to control the EN pin, use open-drain or open-collector output logic to interface with the pin.

Notes on the use ofthe module:
(1) The module is a step-down module, the input voltage needs to be greater than the output 2V or more to stabilise the output.
(2) The module heat is mainly due to the input and output voltage difference and the load current decision, please choose and use the power module reasonably, generally need to set aside a certain amount of margin. The description of our baby details is mainly for 5V output models. Especially when using high power 10W (output 5V2A, output 15V/ 0.67A ) or more, please add your own heat dissipation silicone heat sink etc. to the chip for heat dissipation. With better heat dissipation conditions, it is best to keep the long working hours within 30W (output 15V, 2A) to avoid damaging the chip.
