Mastech MS8910 SMD R/C Resistance Capacitance Meter Tester Auto Scan

The MS8910 gives users an easy way to sort and evaluate loose components and to perform on-board measurements and debugging. This convenient, compact tool is handheld, battery operated, and is specially used to measure SMDs (Surface Mounting Devices) such as Chip type resistors, Chip type capacitors and diodes. Surface mount devices are usually tiny and without wire leads, making it much more difficult to test and identify SMD than conventional components. The precise tips of this tester are made of non-magnetic steel and are able to pick up and reliably contact even the smallest SMD components, or take measurements from the device already mounted on a board.

The probe can also be used to test conventional components with wire leads too short to insert into the test terminals. Moreover, the tester features a continuity checking function. The tester automatically identifies the passive component as indicated above. Therefore, the measurement are allowed by fully automatic detection.
