The UNI-T UT512E is a professional-grade 2.5 kV insulation resistance tester built for low- and medium-voltage electrical maintenance work. It delivers test voltages up to 2500 V and measures insulation resistance up to 2.5 T, making it well suited for motor windings, cables, feeders, switchgear, and panel commissioning where a full 5 kV output isn't necessary but a wide, high-resistance range still is. The UT512E includes Polarization Index timed testing to flag moisture and aging, plus 10% stepped-voltage profiling that stresses the dielectric in stages to catch marginal insulation a single fixed reading might miss.

Built-in capacitance measurement up to 2 µF supports cable and winding diagnostics, while a comparison function enables fast pass/fail decisions. Automatic discharge clears stored charge after every test for safe handling. Up to 999 result sets can be stored and transferred via USB.
