This HDMI over Cat6 extender set contains a transmitting unit (TX) and receiving unit (RX). It converts HDMI audio-video signals into network digital signals for long-distance delivery via one standard Cat6 RJ45 cable, with a maximum stable transmission distance of 60 meters (196 feet).
The integrated EDID copying chip automatically captures resolution, refresh rate and audio parameters from connected displays upon power-on, greatly reducing common compatibility failures such as no signal output, abnormal screen scaling and missing sound. It fully supports 1080P full HD resolution and mainstream 3D video formats, while complying with HDCP encryption standard to normally play copyright-protected video sources.
