I've built several but this was my first itx 3/25/2020 4:44:48 AM

Pros: -great handle
-nice size
-looks great
-the cut out to hide the psu is a good touch
-i would have given it 5 out of 5 but didn't wan't too seem too generous

Cons: -I have big hands so working in it took a bit more time but i love the size of my tiny rig
-no fans but that's not a big deal breaker for me
-no air filter at the bottom but i had a spare magnetic one

Overall Review: would buy again if i needed a portable desktop gaming rig

Overall okay, panel issue 3/11/2020 4:54:03 PM

Pros: Nice finish
Fairly easy to work in

Cons: Right panel seems to keep popping out of the clip, there is no internal pressure that should be causing it.

Temps are a wee bit higher than I thought, but nothing is throttling.
No filter on bottom fan (knew this before I bought it)
No fans included (knew before I bought)

Overall Review: If you need a small case, don't need great thermals, and get a good example, I'd recommend it.

Spacious, portable case with some flaws 2/27/2020 4:08:06 PM

Pros: - It's spacious for an mITX case. There's plenty of room to fit a GPU that's 306 mm in length and a tower cooler.
- The handle easily pulls up to allow for easy carrying.
- The panels connect using a latching/click-in mechanism, which is actually a lot sturdier than I expected.
- The case aesthetic is pretty sleek with the brushed aluminum look. Also, I like that the tempered glass side hides the power supply at the top of the case.

Cons: - There aren't many cable tie-down points in the back, so it can make it harder to close the back panel. My build has the panel slightly bulging at the middle top, and that's even with some pretty good cable management.
- The bottom of the case has no dust filter, so you have a couple of options: 1) leave it open as is, 2) buy dust filters to attach to the case, or 3) jury-rig some other way to filter dust.
- The aluminum is kind of thin, so it's actually pretty easy to scratch/chip it.
- It's nice that there's space at the top for extra cable management, but it's only really useful if you have a cable long enough to route up there.

Overall Review: Overall, I really like this case for its size, portability, and aesthetic, and I'd still recommend this case to others who are considering it. In terms of quality and price, it's not a bad buy at all.

I do, however, have some tips if you do end up getting this case:

- If you plan on using a GPU longer than ~285 mm, you'll have to turn it diagonal to get it into the case first. In other words, don't attach your CPU cooler before inserting your GPU.
- If you care about cable management, be aware of all of the cables you'll need and how long they are. Routing can get kind of tricky if you're not aware of those things.

Cheap Plastic Joints broke immediately 2/10/2020 9:58:32 PM

Pros: Good looking case.

Cons: Several of the plastic joint clips that hold the panels in place broke, leaving the panels supper wobbly and not setting right when on. Can't find replacement parts and Lian-Li hasn't reached back out to me. It sucks to not have this build looking great as the side panel isn't fully seated.

Overall Review: Overall mediocre and not very sturdy. I should have probably have opted for a higher quality case but since I already took the time to build, I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning. I recommend for folks looking at this case, to go for something higher quality.

Great little case - only real issue is cooling 1/30/2020 10:41:08 AM

Pros: Great color, glass is nice, design is good, production quality is outstanding.

Cons: Cooling.
Plastic snaps on the panels will break off very easy.
Backside panel would have been great if it was about half-inch wider - for cabling.
Front panel through the back airflow is insufficient for higher end system builds. Even with watercooling it pushes easily up to 70'C.

Overall Review: Good case - beautiful appearance and quality of manufacture. Just needs some adaption for airflow. Watercooling AIO is not a good solution at all - go with air cooling that blows through front to rear with higher volume.

Broken panel clip, warped top panel 1/23/2020 8:23:16 AM

Pros: Good build overall with the aluminum.
The chassis itself did not have any damages, and the anodization was decent.
Overall case build was sturdy.

Cons: One of the panel clips that one of the glass panel prongs had to be inserted into was broken in half. I've heard good things about Lian Li support, but they haven't gotten back to me. Newegg only offered a replacement, but I'd have to return the entire case instead.
The top panel was warped (as is the case with aluminum), and I had to carefully bend it straight.

Overall Review: I still recommend this case as it's a decent size
A little bit of dead space under the PSU. I think opting out of the handlebar would allow for a shorter case or at least allow a radiator to be installed at the top.

Great case, great customer support 1/6/2020 1:53:27 PM

Overall Review: There are plenty of reviews out there you can read about this case, professional and customer feedback so I won't really go into how awesome (for me) this case is. I just wanted to comment on how fantastic customer support was for me. I had a faulty front USB port and contacted customer support not really expecting much but they responded to me right away and within 24 hours they sent me a replacement cable via FedEx International Priority. Extremely happy with Lian LI's support, they'll be the first ones I look at when I replacement my main desktop Phanteks case. That company never replied to me when I had a faulty fan hub in my Evolv X, so thank you Lian-Li!

Great case. Can improve airflow. 1/3/2020 5:49:50 PM

Pros: I really like this case, but will mention one thing I felt could be improved, but won't dock any points overall.

-Easy wire management
-Panels are easy to work with
-Lots of room for a small build
-USB Type C Gen 2
-Carrying handle
-Supports 12" video cards
-Front Fan Filter

For a 12" video card, if a front intake fan was installed at any point, it will most likely need to be temporarily popped out to install/remove the card at an angle if it's 2+ slots.

Cons: My only complaint with this case may not necessarily matter at all to some, but I wanted a very quiet build, so, having said that...

The rear exhaust grill has holes that mimic a power supply design, meaning that they're the little tiny holes that limit more airflow compared to larger ones you'd often find on a desktop case. I did not like this design, as the rear exhaust is the main source of heat removal since there isn't top exhaust. As a result, a fan I previously used for a quiet build had to be turned up more to keep a Ryzen build, uh, "cool", but it was, for me, just too loud/hot, so I got crafty.

I decided to draw out a circle and cut out the grill entirely for the 120mm fan size, and after a dash of black paint around the edges, and a black 120mm fan grill/finger guard I had already, it actually looked great.

Thankfully, my effort wasn't wasted either, as it made a huge difference in the airflow/noise combination. I have the fan back at only 30% on idle, and it only has to rev up a little more (like 40% or a but more) in games.

This also helped my video card drop to to <=70 C again so its fans wouldn't rev up more than I was used to. It was usually 68C or a tad less in another build, but jumped to ~75 C in this one before the tweak, making it just hot enough to get the fans too loud for my quieter preference.

My processor stays in the mid 60's C now for the most part, whereas before it wasn't shy at all to say hello to the 80's.

Overall Review: Overall, I totally recommend this case for all its perks. I just did a very particular mod to make my setup quieter/cooler for both idle/gaming. I was still happy enough with it beforehand. I have no idea how a water-cooler setup would compare. I really do wish the original design had larger vent holes on the back, but this may not be an issue for others at all.

By having a front fan lightly assisting with airflow intake, but the bulk being pulled from the open vents on the bottom by the rear fan as well (as this MUST be a "pull" configuration with fans to avoid considerable heat buildup), it's been great.

TL;DR - Great case. I did a thing to help the airflow. Worth it.
