Allied Telesis AT-SP10SR Compatible 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Transceiver Module (MMF, 850nm, 300m, LC, DOM)
This Allied Telesis AT-SP10SR compatible SFP+ transceiver carries 10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-SW traffic over multimode fiber at 850nm through an LC duplex interface, reaching 300 meters on OM3, 400 meters on OM4, and 82 meters on older OM2. Short-reach optics cover the distances that actually occur inside a building at a fraction of long-reach pricing, which makes them the sensible choice for switch-to-switch links within a rack row, between floors, or across a wiring closet.
Built-in Digital Optical Monitoring reports temperature, voltage, and optical power in real time, so a contaminated connector or fading transmitter is visible in monitoring before the link fails. The module meets the SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards for clean interoperation in mixed-vendor networks.
Every unit is programmed with Allied Telesis EEPROM coding and tested in Allied Telesis 10G switches, routers, and network interface cards before it ships, so the port recognizes it exactly as it would the OEM AT-SP10SR, at a much lower price.
