Juniper SRX-SFP-10GE-SR Compatible 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Transceiver Module (MMF, 850nm, 300m, LC, DOM)
This Juniper SRX-SFP-10GE-SR compatible SFP+ transceiver gives an SRX services gateway a 10 Gigabit multimode link, running 10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-SW traffic at 850nm over an LC duplex pair. It reaches 300 meters on OM3, 400 meters on OM4, and 82 meters on older OM2, which covers the connection from a firewall to core switching inside the same building.
Digital Optical Monitoring is built in, reporting temperature, voltage, and optical power live so a contaminated connector or weakening transmitter surfaces during maintenance rather than during an outage. Built to the SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards, it interoperates cleanly with whatever optic sits at the far end.
Each unit is programmed with Juniper EEPROM coding and tested in Juniper 10G gateways, switches, and network interface cards before shipping, so the port accepts it exactly as it would the OEM SRX-SFP-10GE-SR, without the OEM price.
