D-Link DEM-431XT Compatible 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Transceiver Module (MMF, 850nm, 300m, LC, DOM)
Link D-Link switches at 10 Gigabit across a floor or a rack row without paying for long-reach optics. This DEM-431XT compatible SFP+ transceiver runs 10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-SW traffic over multimode fiber at 850nm through an LC duplex pair, covering 300 meters on OM3, 400 meters on OM4, and 82 meters on older OM2 plant.
Digital Optical Monitoring is built in, feeding back live temperature, voltage, and optical power so a contaminated connector or weakening transmitter is visible in monitoring rather than only after a link drops. The module is built to the SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards, so it interoperates cleanly with other vendors' optics at the far end.
Each unit is programmed with D-Link EEPROM coding and bench-verified in D-Link 10G switches, routers, and network interface cards before shipping, so the port accepts it exactly as it would the OEM DEM-431XT, without the OEM price.
