Finisar FTLX8574D3BCV Compatible 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Transceiver Module (MMF, 850nm, 300m, LC, DOM)
This Finisar FTLX8574D3BCV compatible SFP+ transceiver moves 10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-SW traffic across multimode fiber at 850nm through an LC duplex interface, reaching 300 meters on OM3, 400 meters on OM4, and 82 meters on older OM2. Those distances cover the links that actually occur inside a building, from server to top-of-rack, rack to rack, or floor to floor.
Finisar parts are standards-based rather than vendor-coded, so this module ships uncoded to the SFP+ MSA and works in open networking platforms, white-box switches, media converters, and any MSA-compliant equipment. Digital Optical Monitoring is built in, reporting temperature, voltage, and optical power live so a weakening link surfaces during maintenance rather than during an outage, and the module meets SFF-8431, SFF-8432, SFF-8472, and IEEE 802.3ae for clean interoperation at the far end.
