Finisar FTLX8571D3BCV Compatible 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Transceiver Module (MMF, 850nm, 300m, LC, DOM)
This Finisar FTLX8571D3BCV compatible SFP+ transceiver runs 10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-SW traffic over multimode fiber at 850nm through an LC duplex interface, reaching 300 meters on OM3, 400 meters on OM4, and 82 meters on older OM2. The FTLX8571 series is among the most widely qualified SR parts in the industry, which is why so many switch vendors list it on their supported optics tables.
Finisar sells standards-based optics rather than vendor-coded modules, so this one ships uncoded to the SFP+ MSA and works in open networking platforms, white-box switches, media converters, and any MSA-compliant equipment. Built-in Digital Optical Monitoring reports temperature, voltage, and optical power in real time, and the module meets SFF-8431, SFF-8432, SFF-8472, and IEEE 802.3ae for clean interoperation at the far end.
