Dell 407-BBOP Compatible 10GBASE-LR SFP+ Transceiver Module (SMF, 1310nm, 10km, LC, DOM)
Bridge racks, floors, or buildings at 10 Gigabit on single-mode fiber. This Dell 407-BBOP compatible SFP+ transceiver runs 10GBASE-LR and 10GBASE-LW traffic to 10 kilometers at 1310nm through an LC duplex pair, and its Digital Optical Monitoring feeds back live temperature, voltage, and optical power readings so a weak link surfaces before it takes a service down.
Built to the SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards, it interoperates cleanly in mixed-vendor networks and fits PowerSwitch and PowerEdge uplinks, data center racks, campus backbones, and metro links. Each unit is engineered, produced, and tested in-factory, then verified in real Dell hardware before shipping. Against the OEM part it can cut optical cabling costs on a project by up to 80 percent.
