Dell 407-10444 Compatible 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Transceiver Module (MMF, 850nm, 300m, LC, DOM)
Keep older Dell 10G ports in service without OEM pricing on legacy optics. This 407-10444 compatible SFP+ transceiver runs 10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-SW traffic at 850nm through an LC duplex pair, covering 300 meters on OM3, 400 meters on OM4, and 82 meters on older OM2, which is more than enough for server-to-switch and rack-to-rack links.
Digital Optical Monitoring feeds back live temperature, voltage, and optical power, so a contaminated connector or weakening transmitter surfaces during maintenance rather than during an outage. Built to the SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards, it interoperates cleanly with whatever optic sits at the far end.
Each unit is written with Dell EEPROM coding and bench-verified in Dell 10G switches, servers, and network interface cards before shipping, so the port accepts it exactly as it would the OEM 407-10444.
