Intel C3N53AA Compatible 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Transceiver Module (MMF, 850nm, 300m, LC, DOM)
This Intel C3N53AA compatible SFP+ transceiver carries 10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-SW traffic over multimode fiber at 850nm through an LC duplex interface, reaching 300 meters on OM3, 400 meters on OM4, and 82 meters on older OM2. That covers the run from a server adapter to top-of-rack or aggregation switching, which is where most of these links terminate.
Every unit is programmed with Intel EEPROM coding and tested in Intel 10G server adapters and network interface cards before it ships, so the port recognizes it exactly as it would the OEM C3N53AA. Built-in Digital Optical Monitoring reports temperature, voltage, and optical power in real time, and the module meets the SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards for clean interoperation with whatever sits at the far end.
