This QNAP TRX-10GSFP-LR compatible SFP+ transceiver carries 10GBASE-LR and 10GBASE-LW traffic up to 10 kilometers over single-mode fiber, operating at 1310nm through an LC duplex interface. Built-in Digital Optical Monitoring reports temperature, voltage, and optical power in real time, so a degrading link shows up before it drops.
The module meets the SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards, so it interoperates cleanly in mixed-vendor networks. It suits QNAP NAS and switch uplinks, remote backup and replication links between sites, small business fiber runs, and campus backbones. Every unit is engineered, produced, and tested in-factory, then verified in real QNAP hardware before it ships. Against the OEM part it can cut optical cabling costs on a project by up to 80 percent.
