HPE Aruba J9150D Compatible 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Transceiver Module (MMF, 850nm, 300m, LC, DOM)
This HPE Aruba J9150D compatible SFP+ transceiver gives Aruba core switches and routers a 10 Gigabit multimode link without OEM pricing. It carries 10GBASE-SR traffic at 850nm through an LC duplex interface, reaching 300 meters on OM3 fiber, and it supports OM4 multimode as well. Uplinks between Aruba core and aggregation switches, and links across a data hall or between floors, fall comfortably inside that reach.
The optics are an 850nm VCSEL transmitter with a PIN photo-detector, with an electrical interface that complies with SFF-8431 and a serial optical interface that complies with IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR. Digital Diagnostic Monitoring reports temperature, voltage, and optical power, so a dirty connector or fading transmitter shows up before it drops a link.
Each unit is programmed at the factory for use with Aruba 10G hardware, so the port recognizes it as it would the OEM J9150D.
