Keystron's GLC-SX-MMD-KS is a Cisco® compatible 1000Base-SX SFP Optical Transceiver for seamless network integration. Our transceivers perform identically to Cisco® original transceivers and are 100% compatible with other OEM and third party transceivers. The GLC-SX-MMD-KS is 100% MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) compliant. All Keystron's transceivers are tested for 100% functionality and guaranteed compatible for outstanding network performance.

The Keystron's GLC-SX-MMD-KS is compatible with the IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-SX standard, operates on legacy 50 µm multimode fiber links up to 550 m and on 62.5 µm Fiber Distributed Data Interface (FDDI)-grade multimode fibers up to 220 m. It can support up to 1km over laser-optimized 50 µm multimode fiber cable.
