HF5111S industrial serial device server DTU is a professional RS485 to Ethernet protocol conversion gateway equipped with FreeRTOS embedded system, mainly applied to industrial automation, environmental monitoring, smart energy and other IoT data acquisition scenes. It helps traditional RS485 devices like PLC, sensors and meters realize remote network transmission by converting serial data to Ethernet data.

This serial server supports two-way Modbus protocol conversion, which can automatically convert Modbus RTU serial signal to Modbus TCP network signal without extra auxiliary software. It can connect local Modbus slave devices with upper computer control system and cloud monitoring platform easily, simplifying industrial networking layout. Besides, standard MQTT protocol is available to upload device running data to IoT cloud for centralized remote equipment management and data recording.

Powered by high-performance main control chip and lightweight FreeRTOS system, this converter can run continuously 24 hours a day stably without crash or frequent disconnection. Its serial port supports baud rate up to 921600bps to match most industrial serial communication equipment. The 10/100M self-adaptive RJ45 Ethernet port connects switches smoothly and delivers low-delay transparent transmission.

With full industrial hardware design, it supports 5-36VDC wide-range DC power input to fit different industrial power supply conditions. The working temperature ranges from -40 to 85, which ensures normal operation in high-temperature workshops, outdoor control cabinets and cold storage. Internal ESD anti-interference circuit effectively blocks electromagnetic interference in factory environment and protects data transmission integrity.

Multiple configuration ways are provided for convenient debugging. Users can adjust parameters via built-in web management page or matching PC configuration tool, and remote OTA firmware upgrade is supported without removing the device. Multiple LED indicator lights show power, network and data transmission status in real time for fast troubleshooting. The shell supports DIN rail installation to save cabinet space.

It is compatible with TCP, UDP, DHCP, virtual serial port and other common network protocols, working well with Windows and Linux industrial hosts and mainstream IoT cloud platforms.
