AJMRTC SPI to CAN FD module uses MCP2518FD CAN FD controller matched with ATA6560 CAN bus transceiver, serving as an upgraded replacement for the classic MCP2515 CAN module. It complies with ISO11898-1:2015 standard and supports CAN 2.0B and CAN FD frames. The module connects to microcontrollers through SPI, enabling MCUs without built-in CAN peripheral to access CAN bus networks easily. It supports 1Mbps arbitration bit rate and up to 5Mbps CAN FD data bit rate. The 120 termination resistor can be toggled on/off to fit various CAN wiring distances. With EMC and ESD protection circuits, it maintains reliable operation under harsh electromagnetic interference environments.
