Delock 86199 Compatible 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Transceiver Module (MMF, 850nm, 300m, LC, DOM)
Add 10 Gigabit multimode fiber to workstations, servers, and small business switches without paying OEM prices. This Delock 86199 compatible SFP+ transceiver carries 10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-SW traffic at 850nm through an LC duplex interface, reaching 300 meters on OM3, 400 meters on OM4, and 82 meters on older OM2. That is more than enough for links between a server room, a wiring closet, and the desks or racks they serve.
Delock sells standards-based accessories rather than vendor-coded modules, so this one ships uncoded to the SFP+ MSA and works in open networking platforms, white-box switches, network cards, media converters, and any MSA-compliant equipment. Built-in Digital Optical Monitoring reports temperature, voltage, and optical power in real time, so a dirty connector or fading transmitter shows up before it drops a link.
The module meets the SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards for clean interoperation with whatever optic sits at the far end. Each unit is tested before it ships. Typical uses are server and workstation uplinks, home labs, small business networks, and short in-building runs.
