Fluke Networks SFP-1000TX Compatible 1000BASE-T SFP Transceiver Module (Copper, 100m, RJ45)
This Fluke Networks SFP-1000TX compatible SFP module delivers Gigabit Ethernet over Cat5, Cat5e, or better copper cable at distances up to 100 meters (328 ft) through an RJ45 connector. It meets the Gigabit Ethernet and 1000BASE-T specifications in IEEE 802.3-2002 and IEEE 802.3ab, so an SFP port on a network analyzer or tester can tap a copper segment directly without a media converter in the path.
Every unit is programmed with Fluke EEPROM coding and tested in Fluke Networks 1G hardware and network interface cards before it ships, so the port recognizes it exactly as it would the OEM SFP-1000TX. Each module is engineered, produced, and tested in-factory, and against the OEM part it can cut networking cabling costs on a project by up to 80 percent.
