12 Port SC Simplex Fiber Optic Patch Panel with Splice Tray (1U, 19 inch Rack Mount)
This 1U patch panel terminates and protects up to twelve SC simplex fiber connections in a standard 19 inch rack. The drawer slides forward on its rails, which is the practical difference between this and a fixed panel: splicing, re-routing, and maintenance all happen at the front of the rack, with no need to pull the unit or work blind behind neighbouring equipment.
Inside sits a 12-fiber splice tray that holds fusion splices and stores slack pigtail without violating bend radius, keeping the fragile part of the termination secured rather than loose in the chassis. Twelve blue SC simplex adapters come fitted, and the panel takes both single mode and multimode fiber, so it suits a backbone termination or a distribution point equally.
The chassis is cold rolled steel with a black powder-coated finish, built to sit in a rack for years without flexing or corroding. Typical deployments are FTTH distribution points, telecom rooms, data centers, enterprise LAN and WAN backbones, fiber backbone terminations, and CCTV or security networks.
