This 1U patch panel terminates twelve SC/APC fiber connections in a standard 19 inch rack, supplied as a complete kit rather than a bare chassis. The twelve green adapters are already fitted, the 12-fiber splice tray is inside, and the cable management parts and mounting hardware are in the box, so the panel goes from carton to rack without a separate parts order.

The APC angled polish is the reason to choose this version over a UPC panel. Its 8-degree ferrule face reflects stray light away from the fiber core instead of straight back down it, which keeps back reflection low enough for PON, FTTH, and RF video services where an ordinary flat polish would degrade the signal. Green adapter bodies are the standard marking for APC, so technicians can identify the polish type at a glance and avoid mating it to a UPC connector.

The drawer slides forward on rails, so splicing, inspection, and re-routing all happen at the front of the rack. Inside, the splice tray holds fusion splices and stores slack pigtail without breaking bend radius. The chassis is cold rolled steel with a black powder-coated finish, built to stay square in a loaded rack for years. Typical deployments are FTTH and FTTx distribution points, ISP head ends, telecom rooms, data centers, enterprise backbones, and CCTV or security networks.
