Link two buildings or two racks at 10 Gigabit over single-mode fiber. This D-Link DEM-432XT compatible SFP+ transceiver runs 10GBASE-LR and 10GBASE-LW traffic to 10 kilometers at 1310nm through an LC duplex interface, and reports temperature, voltage, and optical power in real time through built-in Digital Optical Monitoring so faults are easy to trace.
Built to the SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards, it interoperates in mixed-vendor networks and suits campus backbones, metro area links, data center interconnects, and wiring closet uplinks. Every module is programmed with D-Link EEPROM coding and tested in D-Link 10G switches, routers, servers, and network interface cards before shipping, so the port sees it as it would the OEM DEM-432XT, without the OEM price.
