Juniper EX-SFP-10GE-LR Compatible 10GBASE-LR SFP+ Transceiver Module (SMF, 1310nm, 10km, LC, DOM)
Connect EX and QFX switches across a campus or between buildings at 10 Gigabit. This Juniper EX-SFP-10GE-LR compatible SFP+ transceiver runs 10GBASE-LR and 10GBASE-LW traffic to 10 kilometers over single-mode fiber at 1310nm through an LC duplex pair, with Digital Optical Monitoring feeding back live temperature, voltage, and optical power so a weak link surfaces before it drops.
Built to the SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards, it interoperates cleanly in mixed-vendor networks and fits campus backbones, wiring closet uplinks, metro area links, and data center interconnects. Each unit is written with Juniper EEPROM coding and bench-verified in Juniper 10G switches, routers, and network interface cards before shipping, so the port accepts it just as it would the OEM EX-SFP-10GE-LR, without the OEM price.
