Juniper QFX-SFP-10GE-LR Compatible 10GBASE-LR SFP+ Transceiver Module (SMF, 1310nm, 10km, LC, DOM)
This Juniper QFX-SFP-10GE-LR compatible SFP+ transceiver moves 10GBASE-LR and 10GBASE-LW traffic across single-mode fiber at 1310nm, reaching 10 kilometers through an LC duplex interface. Digital Optical Monitoring is built in, reporting temperature, voltage, and optical power live so a fading link can be caught during maintenance rather than during an outage.
The module is built to the SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae standards for clean interoperation in mixed-vendor networks, and it fits QFX spine and leaf deployments, data center interconnects, metro links, and campus fiber backbones. Each unit is programmed with Juniper EEPROM coding and tested in Juniper 10G switches, routers, and network interface cards before shipping, so the port treats it exactly as it would the OEM QFX-SFP-10GE-LR, at a much lower cost.
