This Chelsio TAPCABLE1M compatible 10G SFP+ passive Direct Attach Copper cable is a cost-effective 1 meter (3.3ft) link for short-reach 10 Gigabit Ethernet. It meets the bandwidth requirements defined by 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-CU), 8G Fibre Channel, and 10G Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE).
Every cable is individually programmed and tested to work with Chelsio 10G switches, routers, Unified Wire Adapters, and network storage systems, and offers a lower-cost alternative to the genuine Chelsio TAPCABLE1M. The integrated SFP+ connectors give you a direct copper link between compatible ports with no separate optical transceivers to buy.
The passive 30AWG Twinax construction runs on a single 3.3V supply and draws almost no power, which makes it well suited to storage area networks, switched fabric I/O, and high-density rack connections.
