EYOOLD Universal SATA/IDE to USB 3.0 Adapter
An IDE to USB adapter is a tool used to connect legacy 2.5", 3.5", or 5.25" IDE/SATA hard drives and optical drives to a modern computer via USB, usually for data recovery. Our hard drive adapter featuring a 40-pin or 44-pin IDE connector, a 12V power supply for 3.5" drives, and a USB connection.

Potential Troubleshooting Issues:
Jumper Settings: Ensure the IDE drive jumper is set to "Master" if it is the only drive connected, say Super User users.
Drive Health/Format: The drive must be formatted, and if it is corrupted, it may not appear in File Explorer (use Disk Management to check).

What types of drives are compatible with this hard drive adapter?
USB to SATA/IDE Adapter Compatible with 2.5", 3.5", 5.25" IDE or SATA device,
The drive is connected but does not appear on my computer.
Check that the drive is fully inserted and powered. New drives may need to be initialized in your system’s disk management utility. Drives from encrypted enclosures or using self-encryption may require reformatting.
