    972A is for the standard page yield and 972X is the XL version that has twice amount of ink. Their specifications are the same, except the printer 352dw, 377dw and 377dn. Only 972a ink cartridges are compatible for hp 352dw, 377dw and 377dn.
    Have these 972A cartridge chips been upgraded to work with the latest firmware for the printer?
    Yes.
    Once we detect that HP has updated the firmware version of the printer, we will stop selling the product and re-sell it after the chip upgrade. And we highly suggest to install them within 1 month.
    Are the 972a ink cartridges compatible with 477dw printers?
