Step 1: Lift the Top Cover and Get Ready for Installation. NOTE: When replacing the printhead, avoid shifting the carriage from its designated position. If the carriage is accidentally moved, simply close the top cover to return it to the indicated position.Step 2: Take out the Printhead and Press the OK Button. NOTE: Avoid touching the Linear Scale (a) or Carriage Shaft (b) as it may cause damage to these components.Step 3: Use the Grips (a) to Remove the Printhead. NOTE: Always grasp the printhead by the grips (a). Avoid touching the nozzles (b), metal contacts (c), or ink supply section (d), as this could potentially damage the printhead and impact print quality.Step 4: Installing the New Printhead and Shutting the Top Cover. NOTE: Allow approximately 6 minutes for the ink to fill. If the display indicates "unrecognized" or similar, utilize the decode clear function on the printer, then reinstall the printhead.
