Music is the foundation of all the performing arts. Music transports usit can be absorbed quietly, evoking strong memories, or move us in powerful ways. It makes us dance, laugh, cry, sing, create. Its the cornerstone of so much that we love. Even people with memory loss can enjoy and connect with music... It has a way of directly speaking to the soul. As I was contemplating sculpting a piece that is an expression of music, I wanted to etch a pattern that tells a story.
