Conventional star-quad design: two connectors on each end, attached to a pair of conductors on opposite sides. This cable can also be obtained in bi-wired arrangements. The terminations employ a special ultrasonic welding method that bonds the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, without any intermediate metal, compression sleeves, or setscrews. Star quad cable design minimizes the EM field surrounding the cable for less interaction with other system wiring. Assembled in Seattle, Washington, with proprietary connectors and a Sonobond welder.
