Conventional star-quad design: two connectors on each end, connected to a pair of conductors on opposite sides. This cable can also be obtained in bi-wired arrangements. The terminations employ a distinctive ultrasonic welding technique that bonds the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, without any intermediate metal, compression sleeves, or setscrews. Star quad cable design minimizes the EM field surrounding the cable for less interference with other system wiring. Manufactured in Seattle, Washington, using proprietary connectors and a Sonobond welder. The locking banana plugs ensure excellent contact between plug and binding post; rotating the locking collar tightens the splines against the inside of the post
